Sports ranks and titles
Requirements for awarding sports titles and ranks in motorsport, karting, and motorcycle sport.
Master of Sport of International Class of the Kyrgyz Republic
- 1st-3rd place at the Motorsport World Championship.
- 1st-2nd place at the Motorsport World Cup.
- 1st-2nd place at the European or Asian Motorsport Championship.
- 1st-3rd place at international competitions on the FIA calendar in the following disciplines: rally-raid (Dakar series), auto baja, rally, auto-cross and karting, drift and gymkhana — provided at least 5 countries participate.
Master of Sport of the Kyrgyz Republic
- 1st-2nd place for the year at the KR Championship (at least 3 stages in 2 different regions, with more than 10 athletes in the scoring group, after the previous title was awarded).
- 1st place for the year at the KR Championship (at least 3 stages in 2 different regions, with at least 10 athletes in the scoring group, after the previous title was awarded).
- 1st place for the year at the KR Cup in auto-cross, rally, karting, winter track racing, drift, gymkhana, autoslalom, drag racing, rally-raid, or trophy-raid (classes TR-2, TR-3, ATV) (at least 3 stages in 2 different regions, with at least 10 athletes in the scoring group, after the previous title was awarded).
Candidate Master of Sport of the Kyrgyz Republic
- 1st-3rd place for the year at the KR Championship or Cup (at least 3 stages in 2 different regions, with more than 10 athletes in the scoring group, after the previous title was awarded).
Rank I
- 1st-7th place for the year at the KR Championship or Cup (at least 3 stages in 2 regions, with more than 10 athletes in the scoring group, after the previous title was awarded).
- 1st-5th place for the year at the KR Championship or Cup (at least 3 stages in 2 regions, with at least 10 athletes in the scoring group, after the previous title was awarded).
- 1st-2nd place for the year at a championship series, regional, or city competition (at least 3 stages, with at least 10 athletes in the scoring group, after the previous title was awarded).
Rank II
Considered fulfilled with 3 finishes in a Championship, Cup, championship series, official regional or city competition (with at least 10 athletes in the scoring group, after the previous title was awarded).
Rank III
Considered fulfilled with 2 finishes in a Championship, Cup, championship series, official regional or city competition (with at least 7 athletes in the scoring group).
Youth ranks (ages 6-14)
Youth Rank I
- 1st-7th place for the year at the KR Championship or Cup (at least 3 stages in 2 regions, with more than 10 athletes in the scoring group, after the previous title was awarded).
- 1st-5th place for the year at the KR Championship or Cup (at least 3 stages in 2 regions, with at least 10 athletes in the scoring group, after the previous title was awarded).
- 1st-2nd place for the year at a championship series, official regional or city competition (at least 3 stages, with at least 10 athletes in the scoring group, after the previous title was awarded).
Youth Rank II
Considered fulfilled with 3 finishes (after the previous title was awarded) in a Championship, Cup, championship series, official regional or city competition (with at least 10 athletes in the scoring group).
Youth Rank III
Considered fulfilled with 2 finishes in a Championship, Cup, championship series, official regional or city competition (with at least 7 athletes in the scoring group).
Master of Sport of International Class of the Kyrgyz Republic
- 1st-3rd place at the World Championship (adults).
- 1st place at the European or Asian Championship, or the World Cup (adults).
Master of Sport of the Kyrgyz Republic
1st-2nd place at the multi-stage KR Championship (at least 3 stages, with at least 2 Masters of Sport participating), twice within three years by year-end results.
Candidate Master of Sport of the Kyrgyz Republic
1st-2nd place at the multi-stage KR Cup or Championship (at least 3 stages).
Rank I
1st-6th place for the year at the multi-stage KR Championship, series, or Cup (at least 3 stages). If the scoring group has fewer than 10 but at least 6 athletes, it is awarded to those placing 1st-6th twice within three years.
Rank II
Considered fulfilled with 2 finishes (after the previous title was awarded) in a Cup or championship series (with at least 6 athletes in the scoring group), i.e. obtaining a final placement in the competition's standings.
Rank III
Considered fulfilled with 3 finishes in a Cup or championship series (with at least 6 athletes in the scoring group), i.e. obtaining a final placement in the competition's standings.
Youth ranks (ages 9-12)
Youth Rank I
1st-6th place for the year at the multi-stage KR Championship, series, or Cup (at least 3 stages). If the scoring group has fewer than 10 but at least 6 athletes, it is awarded to those placing 1st-6th twice within three years.
Youth Rank II
Considered fulfilled with 2 finishes (after the previous title was awarded) in a Cup or championship series (with at least 6 athletes in the scoring group).
Youth Rank III
Considered fulfilled with 3 finishes in a Cup or championship series (with at least 6 athletes in the scoring group).
Notes
- The MSIC title is awarded from age 18, MS from age 17, CMS rank from age 14, ranks I-III from age 10, and youth ranks from age 9.
- Sports titles and ranks are awarded only if the judging panel of competitions held in Kyrgyzstan included judges of the following qualifications: MS KR — 1 judge of the highest national category or 2 judges of the national category plus 3 judges of category 1; CMS KR — 2 judges of the national category plus 2 judges of category 1; Rank I — 3 judges of category 1; Ranks II and III — 1 judge of category 1.
- When athletes with youth ranks move up to the adult group, they are treated as holding the adult rank one level lower.
- Sports ranks (titles) are awarded sequentially, for places taken within the scoring group (class), provided at least 10 athletes started in the scoring group; the scoring group must be reached in most of the stages held. If the scoring group has fewer than 10 but at least 6 athletes, CMS and MS ranks are awarded to athletes who won by year-end results twice within three years.
- In competitions for mass motorsport disciplines (karting, drift, drag racing), ranks no higher than CMS are awarded, provided the rank requirements are met over two sports seasons within 3 years.
- Admission to youth competitions requires the written, notarized consent of a parent or guardian. Boys and girls aged 12+ holding CMS rank may compete in adult competitions on closed tracks with written parental/guardian consent; admission is reviewed separately in each case by the Board of Sports Stewards.
- The qualifying distance for karting is at least 22 km. The distance for youth competitions may be reduced to 50% of the adult distance. The distance for international competitions is regulated by the FIA.
- Athletes aged 9 and up are admitted to competitions on FAMS's official calendar. Fulfillment of rank requirements is confirmed by extracts from competition protocols issued by the FAMS regional office.
Master of Sport of International Class of the Kyrgyz Republic
Motocross, supercross, road racing, trial, snowmobiles
- 1st-3rd place in the individual World Championship.
- 1st place in the individual European or Asian Championship.
Six-day and two-day enduro competitions (World and European Championship)
- 1st-3rd place at the FIM Six Days event as part of a national or club team among adults, or 1st-3rd place in the individual standings.
- 1st-3rd place in the individual World Championship.
- 1st place in the individual European or Asian Championship at the two-day event.
Ice track racing
- 1st-3rd place in the “Grand Prix” series (or final) of the individual World Championship.
- 1st-2nd place in the “Grand Prix” Challenge.
- 1st place at the European Championship.
Master of Sport of the Kyrgyz Republic
- 1st-2nd place for the year at the KR Championship, excluding the 65cc and 85cc classes (at least 3 stages in 3 different regions, with more than 10 athletes in the scoring group, after the previous title was awarded).
- 1st place for the year at the KR Championship, excluding the 65cc and 85cc classes (at least 3 stages in 3 different regions, with at least 10 athletes in the scoring group, after the previous title was awarded).
Candidate Master of Sport of the Kyrgyz Republic
- 1st-4th place for the year at the KR Championship, excluding the 65cc and 85cc classes (at least 3 stages, with 10 athletes in the scoring group, after the previous title was awarded).
- 1st-3rd place for the year at the KR Cup, excluding the 65cc and 85cc classes (at least 3 stages, with at least 10 athletes in the scoring group at each stage, after the previous title was awarded).
- 1st place for the year at the KR Championship in the 85cc class (at least 3 stages, with at least 10 athletes in the scoring group, after the previous title was awarded).
Rank I
- 1st-7th place for the year at the KR Championship (at least 3 stages in 3 regions, with more than 10 athletes in the scoring group, after the previous title was awarded, excluding the 65cc class).
- 1st-5th place for the year at the KR Cup (at least 3 stages in 3 regions, with at least 10 athletes in the scoring group, after the previous title was awarded, excluding the 65cc class).
- 1st-2nd place for the year at a championship series, official regional or city competition (at least 3 stages, with at least 10 athletes in the scoring group, after the previous title was awarded, excluding the 65cc class).
Rank II
Considered fulfilled with 3 finishes in a Championship, Cup, or championship series, official regional or city competition, in all classes except 65cc (with at least 6 athletes in the scoring group, after the previous title was awarded).
Rank III
Considered fulfilled with 2 finishes in a Championship, Cup, or championship series, official regional or city competition, in all classes except 65cc (with at least 6 athletes in the scoring group).
Youth ranks — motocross, 65cc class
Youth Rank I
- 1st-4th place at the individual/team KR Motocross Championship or Cup in the 65cc class (with at least 6 athletes in the scoring group, after the previous title was awarded).
- 1st-3rd place at the individual/team motocross championship series of the KR, regions, or cities in the 65cc class (with at least 6 athletes in the scoring group, after the previous title was awarded).
Youth Rank II
Considered fulfilled with 3 finishes in the 65cc class in a Championship, Cup, or championship series, official regional or city competition (with at least 6 athletes in the scoring group, after the previous title was awarded).
Youth Rank III
Considered fulfilled with 2 finishes in the 65cc class in a Championship, Cup, or championship series, official regional or city competition (with at least 6 athletes in the scoring group).
